Tim Boyle
Executive Vice President of U.S. Tent Rental and Linens by the Sea/Co-Owner


Tim has been with the U.S. Tent Rental, the parent company of Linens by the Sea, since its incorporation in 2001, and he specializes in Large Scale Projects and Customer Care. As the most important link between Linens by the Sea and U.S. Tent Rental, Tim is a natural born leader and a CERP (Certified Event Rental Professional) graduate.  His insight into forecasting trends in the rental industry is incredibly valuable in the linen department, and if you think that you have a nearly impossible requirement for your upcoming occasion, he will produce the most perfect, creative rental solution. Tim’s philosophy is that since we house over 10,000 linens that we launder in house and because we realize that the nature of this business is change, we are ready for those last minute updates and additions that tend to pop up even on the best planned events. We want you worry free, and we will always have a solution for your last minute need to the very best of our abilities. As an honored recipient of the Frank G. Berlin, Sr. Small Business of the Year Award in 2008, Tim is completely dedicated to his community by volunteering as a Sarasota Area Sports Alliance (SASA) board member and for the wheelchair Florida Sled Hockey Team. Originally from Minnesota, Tim lives on Siesta Key by the beautiful blue water and is married to his French-born wife Nathalie. They have two adorable little boys, Christopher and Joshua. When Tim isn’t busy running US Tent with his partners who are his father Brian and brother Cliff, you’ll find him chatting about sports and making excuses as to why the Vikings can’t win a Super Bowl. 

Anna Pohl

With an MBA in Management and BFA in Fine Arts, Anna's unique combination of creativity and solid business skills allows her to impeccably assist clients with selecting the perfect linens to solidify the entire event design.  She has keen intuition as to what style works best for your specific needs including traditional, beach, modern, elegant, vintage, green, ethnic and very creative/counter the norm.  Originally, Anna started her career planning events in the corporate world both in the states and abroad. Immediately before Linens by the Sea, she managed her own highly praised wedding and event planning company. Her events have been featured on numerous blogs including Style My Pretty and 100 Layer Cake, and they have been written about in various publications including the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s, Sarasota Magazine, SRQ Magazine, Biz Bash Flash and Nuovo Bride. Her industry awards include Wedding Wire - Bride's Choice Award, The Knot - Best of Weddings Winner, People's Choice Award - Best Wedding Planner - The Bradenton Herald, Biz Bash Flash Award - Top 20 Event Planners in Florida Under 40, and the Gulf Coast Business Review 40 Under 40 Award.  Anna is a certified wedding consultant by The ACPWC, has taught wedding and events training classes at the State College of Florida, and she has recently become CERP certified through the American Rental Association (ARA). In her free time, Anna, a true Texan at heart, enjoys volunteering for numerous causes, decorating her 1920’s home with her husband Sean, watching sunsets at the beach and playing with her puppy Buster.

Sherri Ciko

Account Executive

Sherri came from many years of national success in the social stationary industry.  Her many clients have enjoyed her analytical thinking and can do attitude throughout her career. In fact, her passion for working with elite artists coupled with her organizational leadership abilities, make her a true fit for our company, Linens by the Sea.  Sherri's sales expertise and professionalism has earned her numerous awards, and she also has shined in her years as a member of Toastmasters in the Tampa Bay area. Without a doubt, Sherri loves a fast paced environment, so she's up to meeting and exceeding any challenge you might wish to give her to create the perfect look with linens for your upcoming celebration. If you're living in Florida, Sherri can easily stop by with sample linens to see how they look in your space. Sherri and her husband John enjoy playing tennis, biking and beach walking on beautiful Longboat Key.

Joy Perez

Account Representative

Joy is a key member of the Linens by the Sea team, and we are happy to have her with us. She comes from a sales and marketing background, with experience in the event and fashion industries styling photo shoots and planning fashion shows, so she has an eye for the latest styles and trends. Feel free to ask her any design questions regarding your upcoming affair, and she’ll be sure to have amazingly creative ideas for you. And behind the scenes, Joy handles the majority of the marketing for our company and manages our linen blog, social media, and newsletter. In her free time, Joy plays tennis and golf with her husband, and can be found by the water, rollerblading, at the pool, or at the park with her dogs. Joy is happily married to her husband Daniel and has two adorable chihuahuas named ChiChi and Quico.

Tina Smyth

Sales Associate

Originally from San Diego, Tina is an energetic and always cheerful member of the linen team and a CERP professional. At the beginning stages of Tina’s career, she was in the travel and tourism trade and through this path eventually wound up in the hospitality industry. She has worked in various management positions for leading hotels on both the West and East coasts of the United States. One day while in Ft. Lauderdale as a hotel event planner, Tina attended a local N.A.C.E. (National Association of Catering Executives) meeting at a linen and rental company.  At that very moment, Tina discovered that her true passion was the party rental field and knew she absolutely wanted to follow this exciting career path. She then worked eight celebrated years in the very company where she attended this fateful meeting. While in the Tampa region executing rentals for events, Tina met the U.S. Tent/ Linens by the Sea family setting up tents throughout the region. Tina decided that adding tents to her already outstanding repertoire of knowledge in linens and rentals would be a perfect match, and it truly has been. We are so lucky to have her expertise. Tina loves the sun! Every weekend you can find Tina and her husband Bryan swimming in the pool, on a boat, riding bikes or sipping margaritas by the water. 

Michelle Atkinson

Warehouse Manager – Linen Operations

At Linens by the Sea, we are incredibly privileged to have Michelle as our Warehouse Manager in Linen Operations.  For over ten years, Michelle has achieved great success in the production/warehouse industry as a supervisor in various management capacities. Her analytical skills have allowed her to excel in shipping logistics, inventory management and quality control. She now leads the Linen Warehouse Department with fun, functionality and finesse while at the same time implementing procedures important in sending linens out the warehouse doors and returning them safely with each and every item accounted for. An expert in washing/drying, pressing/steaming and logistics of all kinds, Michelle loves everything to do with the beach and our warm weather since she's originally from New Hampshire and Maine.

A regular fixture at Linens by the Sea, Lucy the dog is always by Tim’s side.  She is a seven year old white German shepherd and loves meeting new friends. No visit to our showroom is complete without a warm welcome from Lucy!
