Here at Linens by the Sea we’re getting ready for a very busy social and sports filled year.

Summer Check List:

- New product is on order
- Client requests are being filled
- Phones are starting to really ring!!! (priceless)
With that said and done, our sales department is really booking appointments in the showroom and at client venues. As we are starting to help our clients create their perfect event style for this upcoming season, we love to remind you that the linen table showcase should be done onsite whenever possible to ensure you get the exact look you are going for. So give us a call and start planning ahead as this is helpful to both your rental company and your wedding or corporate event planner.
With the social season days away, we are lucky to not only help you plan your weddings and galas, but we also work with a lot of the local Tampa Bay, St. Pete and Sarasota/Manatee sports organizations, wine & music festivals and nonprofits, and they are really planning ahead this year as we have a lot of cool events already in the works. So don’t procrastinate and start planning your next amazing affair now.
Below is a lineup of several things already booked around the Tampa Bay area, so get your social calendar out and let the revelry begin!
One of our 1st events that we are really getting excited about is the Clearwater Chargers Academy Labor Day Showcase being held at the Premier Sports Complex August 30th to September 1st. It is going to be a great showcase. Premier Sports Complex is located at 5895 Post Blvd, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34211.
Another event to mark on your calendar is the Florida Hot Air Balloon Festival also being held at the Premier Sports Complex on October 3rd to the 5th. This event is a must for the season and is family friendly so pack up the kids and head on out.
And speaking of sports, we love soccer! Our own Tampa Bay Rowdies still have a few games left this season so go out and give them some home town cheer. The Rowdies play at the Al Lang Stadium located at 230 1st St SE, St Petersburg, FL 33701, and you can check out the remaining games at www.rowdiessoccer.com
The Tampa Bay Rays are doing quite well, too.. All of our staff loves to cheer them on.
Also, we can’t forget about our furry paw family, and their day is coming with the SPCA Pet Walk at the beautiful Vinoy Park in downtown St. Petersburg on October 11, 2014. This event is sure to make for a furtastic family day.
On November 1st and 2nd is the 28th Annual Taste of Manatee, and this is a classic two day event hosted by the Rotary Club of West Bradenton and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association. This tasting features great food and entertainment and helps to support many of the local charities. The event is held at Sutton Park in Palmetto, Florida so go out and enjoy some samples from some of your local restaurants and take part a good cause. And if you like wine, we have the perfect occasion to entice your pallet at the Suncoast Food & Wine Festival. This event is being held by the Rotary Club of Lakewood ranch at the Sarasota Polo club located at 8201 Polo Club Ln, Sarasota, FL 34240. Get you tickets soon for this wonderful event as they are offering over 300 American & International wines, delicious food samples from over 40 of the area’s finest restaurants, cooking demonstrations and specialty beer tastings... YUM!
And we can’t forget about football season and all the fun tailgate parties. We’ve already had our 1st USF Bulls event and are looking forward to a great season. Make sure you get out to a game this year as the college boys really know how to play ball with their hearts and soul.

If you're up for a nice drive, then mark the calendar for November 2nd from 11:00am-5:00pm as the Junior League of Fort Myers will host there 32nd annual Taste of the Town being held for the 2nd year at the Jet Blue Park, home of the Boston Red Sox Spring Training Facility. This is a must see stadium located at: 11500 Fenway S Diver, Fort Myers, FL 33913
And our last event we’ll mention today to end the 2014 year will be the former Beef O’ Brady Bowl, now the Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl being held at the Tropicana Field.
So this is just that start of the season and the calendar is getting full. And this is only a mere selection of the many fabulous festivities coming up this fall that we can’t wait to be a part of!
