Cool Event Photos from the Past Couple of Years (Part Two)

Everyone raved about our first article showcasing cool event photos so much that we decided to share a few more exciting pics. At Linens by the Sea and by working with our parent company, U.S. Tent Rental, we have had so much fun receiving amazing photographs from many of our photography studio and event planner friends. We once again are thrilled to share some more images with you to also enjoy with a little bit of background information on each event.

This first is one of our most loved:

2014

The event name and category:   Selby Gardens, wedding

    1. Date and location:  Summer 2014, Selby Gardens Banyan Trees, Sarasota, FL
    2. Background information:  This whimsical wedding was set in the absolutely gorgeous Selby Gardens known for its important orchid collection.  We bring in power through our generators for any electrical needs.  The most difficult aspects of this set-up is that it is a long walk to the garden event spaces, and nothing can be trucked in or out of the grounds, but we are happy to do it!  The results are always AMAZING!  It’s also a same day delivery and breakdown at the gardens as the event date, so we’re so proud of our talented crew that can do this so well.
    3. Main products used in photo:
Tuscan lights strung in the trees
Natural wood chiavari chairs with ivory pads
Custom light yellow napkins –the perfect color to match the bride’s invitation
      Grey solid linens
      Silver chargers
      Tables
    4. Other companies involved: NK Productions (Nicole Kaney, wedding planning)

    1. Date and location:  February, 2014, The Hyatt Regency Ballroom, Sarasota, FL
    2. Background information:  This event really needed to be over-the-top in luxury and elegance. Nothing but the best would simply do for this Venetian inspired masquerade ball  which celebrated the beginning of Sarasota Opera's Winter Festival opening its season with Verde’s Il Trovatore. The popular Debbi Benedict of Scene Magazine exclaimed, “I thought it was the absolute prettiest I had ever seen the room.”

Shimmer Crease Peacock napkins and linens

    3. Main products used in photo:

20145

20146

The event name and category:   British wedding reception in Sarasota, FL

    1.  Date and location:  September, 2013, The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota
    2. Background information:  Our client, Choreographed Events, had a bride who fell in love with a photo of a chiavari chair with sashes weaved through the wooden chair back.  It was taken at an interior design market.  We did everything in our power to recreate the look for her dream wedding down to the smallest detail of the correct shade of ivory and the length of the sashes puddling on the floor.  She was thrilled with the result!  We also had the task of turning a completely wood paneled room into a soft ivory wonderland, and it turned out perfectly.
    3. Main products used:
black chiavari chairs with satin ivory chair pads
oversized ivory chiffon chair sashes, 6 per chair – 552 sashes in total – WOW!!!
      satin ivory linens and napkins
white dance floor film to give the dance floor a glossy white surface with black tape edging
    4. Other companies involved:  Choreographed Events (Maria Brady, wedding planner), Ritz-Carlton, Tiger Lily Florist, Affairs in the Air draping, mirror table tops:  So Staged

How great is this bride's reaction to seeing our tent and everything set up for her big day? We love it!

20147

The event name and category:   Ringling Museum wedding, wedding reception

    1. Date and location:  Spring, 2014, The John and Mable Ringling Museum, Sarasota, FL
    2. Background information:  It is always a challenge at the world renowned Ringling Museum to set-up and break down party rentals for it must be done in very fast time frame so that the museum’s regular daytime visitors aren’t impacted during their visits.  We think this is a grand idea, and it is always worth the speedy process because it is truly one of the most beautiful locations for a wedding in the country.  On this particular day, there was a rain shower, so we also set-up this amazing tent to keep the guests dry at this planned outdoors reception.  The bride was completely amazed at how gorgeous it all turned out.  She was allowed a sneak peak just before the rest of the guests arrived.  What a priceless reaction!
    3. Main products used:
      gold chiavari chairs
      streamer lights and tent liner
60’x70’ Anchor Century twin pole tent with cathedral window sides
lamour champagne linens with ivory lace overlays
    4. Other companies involved:  NK Productions (Nicole Kaney, wedding planning) and Michael’s On East Catering
