We invite you to step back in time and experience the enchanting world of Ma’Ceo, as a break from today’s age of frills and technology, the work of Ma’Ceo takes people back to the roots of gypsy heritage, let the swirling winds of passion transcend you as the age old fellowship between man and horse is brought back to life and awaits you with open arms.

The Taste of Boca Grande 2016

A charitable event featuring Boca Grande and off-island restaurants, serving food and libations, in the round, at the Boca Bay Pass Club on the Gulf. This is the thirteenth annual “Taste,” a fund raising event to benefit the Harry Chapin Food Bank in Fort Myers, providing non-perishables, meats and fresh produce to food banks in five counties.


If you missed it this year, there is always next year – it’s a bucket list event for sure!

And this one is a lot of fun and a must for all family members.

St. Barbara Greek Festival

St. Barbara’s annual 4 day Glendi….a Greek Festival evokes the sights, sounds and tastes that define the traditional Greek way of life. Enjoy the hospitality of our Greek community, and experience the simple pleasures of life in a Greek village. Festival hours Thursday through Saturday 11am to 9pm. Sunday Noon to 8pm.

Rev It up and Let It Roar...The inaugural 2015 Bradenton River Regatta emerged as the largest spectator event ever in Manatee County. And...2016 promises a more vast and vibrant showing of the events, performers and highlights that make this action-packed, fun-filled festival a family entertainment extravaganza!

From the moment the sun rises, anticipation energizes the air and electrifies the Manatee river as it awaits the fastest inland boats on water, Powerboat Superleague Racing...and the quickest, most nimble jets skis in the world—Hydro-Xross Racing... both spewing edge-of-the-seat excitement and breath-taking drama all day long.

Stages will be rockin’ too, headlined by Christian music sensation Brandon Heath and America’s #1 Beatles tribute band—Beatlemania Now. Plus, see extreme sports superstars XPOGO and BMX stunt rider Chris Clark along with the Frisbee® flying, trickdog antics of Sky Bound Canines, kid’s zone, a 5-K run and more food than your eyes can behold.

Of course, it all culminates when the skies come colorfully alive through the pyro artistry and magic of Zambelli Fireworks ending the day in a rousing blast of kaleidescopic beauty.

At the Florida Railroad Museum - US 301 N. at Hwy 62

Come and join your friends at the annual Parrish Florida Chili Cookoff, immediately after the Parrish Heritage Day Parade. The event will take place on the grounds of the Florida Railroad Museum, in Parrish. Bring your biggest pot, bring your Grandma's chili recipe, and Bring It ON! Or you can just bring all of your friends.

All proceeds will go to The
Parrish Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization who provides grants to groups who serve the residents of the Parrish community.

This event is sponsored by the Parrish Civic Association.

Heintz & Becker De Soto Seafood Festival


The 2016 Heintz and Becker De Soto Seafood Festival is widely recognized as one of Florida’s most outstanding events and is attended by thousands each year. Our three-day family event features some of the best seafood around along with other tasty offerings from area restaurants and food vendors. A great lineup of continuous entertainment on two stages includes the best the local music scene has to offer as well as nationally known recording artists.
