This week on the blog we are featuring a real wedding planned by N.K. Productions. The wedding was celebrating the marriage between Emilia and Christian this past January at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Sarasota, Florida. It was a Japanese and Persian blended wedding, which called for too many beautiful details to list. From sparkly jewelry to guests with sparklers, this wedding was truly radiant.
For a little background on the couple, here is what the N.K. Productions blog had to say about them and planning their special day:
“Not only were Emilia + Christian the sweetest, most spirited couple, the majority of their wedding planning was happening as they both were in the midst of studying their life away to pass their final exams! These weren’t just any exams, they were the last exams they would ever have to take in order to graduate with a Doctorate. They did it! While they were buried in their books during their last semester of college, we had the honor to help them put together their dream wedding, which happened two weeks after graduation. Such a great way to kick off 2014 wedding season in Sarasota!”
The ceremony was held outdoors amongst the green Florida palms. The couple stood under a gorgeous flowing white wedding arch adorned with luscious ivory flowers, and rose petals covering the aisle that lead Emilia to her groom. There was a luxurious yellow and gold damask cushioned bench underneath the arch, and a delicious looking spread full of traditional foods in front of the bench. There were ten bridesmaids and ten groomsmen standing by their side in coral dresses and coral silk ties. All of their close family and friends came to watch them become husband and wife in what seemed to be a very intimate, classic and traditional ceremony.
Following the ceremony, they moved indoors to the ballroom. Despite all of the fabulous wedding décor that the N.K. Productions Wedding Planning team and vendors brought in, the Ritz Carlton ballroom is already full of so many grand and intricate furnishings to make it an ideal venue. From the crystal and iron chandeliers, to the richly colored and patterned carpets, this venue was perfect for this glamorous couple. For an even more elegant feel, the walls in the room were lined with satin drapes and vibrant magenta uplighting. The floral arrangements created by Botanica were in shades of coral and ivory and complete with lilies, roses, orchids and hydrangeas. To offset all of the vibrant colors displayed in the lighting and flowers, N.K. Productions used ivory linens in different textures from Linens by the Sea. Ivory Pintuck tablecloths with custom made Ivory Crinkle Taffeta napkins were used for the guest tables. The Pintuck linens are classic with a quilted square pattern and when combined with the modern flare of the Crinkle napkins, they are a perfect match. Since the orchid covered cake sat on top of a bedazzled cake stand, they chose to go with a simple and refined Ivory Lamour tablecloth for the cake table.
This wedding truly was an affair to remember. Along with all of the fabulous floral arrangements, tablecloths and lighting, one can’t forget about entertaining the guests, and this bride and groom definitely did not. They had Cat Pennenga’s “Fancy Booth” photo booth, DJ Fitz Otis getting everyone out on the dance floor and Limelight Photography and VH Video to capture all of these memorable moments being made.

We really loved writing about this wedding for so many reasons. The amazing wedding planner, florist, photographer, and all of the other vendors made it easy for us to feature this beautiful occasion. Even though there are probably so many more specific details that we didn’t mention in this short blog, our most favorite is how happy the bride, groom and all of their guests look in the photos that we shared. We can most definitely tell that this was an enjoyable celebration for everyone involved.
