More Hipster Wedding Fun!

As promised, we’re bringing you more ideas and trends from modern-day fabulously amazing Hipster weddings

1) Our Favorite Trend for Bridesmaid Dresses!

Mismatched, all natural garden-inspired bridesmaids dresses along with freshly picked wildflowers. Perfect for all spring weddings, and they allow bridesmaids to stand out. This look can work no matter your color pallette!

Check out these modern bridesmaids at a recent wedding on Longboat Key, Florida – so pretty!

There are so many assortments of colors to choose from! Not sure where to start? Right now pastels and metallics are in high demand. Go to http://www.linensbythesea.com/linen-products to see the three colors listed below plus tons more. Here's another idea: keep the bride’s bouquet white or ivory to make sure it's super special and stands out from the rest of the colors.

 2) Reclaimed and Repurposed Pieces for Furnishings

"Lounge furniture" and antique wedding decor is huge right now. Here's a DIY tip: stop by your favorite local thrift store or second-hand shop to find truly unique pieces. You can even continue to use them long after your wedding day - add an antique chair to your guest bedroom, for example, to remind you of your special day. Check out the photo below from a boho chic styled wedding on the gorgeous island of Anna Maria in sunny Florida. These vintage items are from the local shop Ginny and Jane E's Antiques. The favors? They're wildflower seeds to grow fond memories of your wedding day for all of your guests. They’ll love it!

3) Wedding “Arches” for Your Ceremony Like You’ve Never Seen Before

Today’s most fashionable weddings have “arches” that are all completely different. Some are DYI, some are from www.etsy.com, and some are just way out wacky. You’ll love them all. We have two examples below.

At Siesta Beach, FL on the whitest of white sand:

4. Elegant Antique Boho Decor for Tables

We thought we’d share this gem of a "green" wedding below! Check out the favors on the table. They're pieces of last year's Christmas tree cut and wood-burned with words such as Hope, Peace and Joy, and tied with a stand of reclaimed leather. Guests can use them as ornaments on their holiday trees and remember your special day forever. We love it!
